Mercedes-Benz is making significant updates and changes to its lineup, with one of the standout enhancements being a new engine option for the powerful Mercedes-AMG G63. The AMG G-Class has become more powerful and efficient than ever before, offering improved performance. Replacing the previous 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine, the 2019 Mercedes-AMG G63 now boasts a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine, producing an impressive 577 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque. These enhanced specs result in remarkable performance, allowing the new G63 to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds—0.9 seconds faster than the 2018 model. Additionally, it can reach a limited top speed of 137 mph, or up to 149 mph with the AMG Driver’s package.
